North East Time Recorders are a well established business in the time and attendance sector across the UK. With a history spanning over 80 years, we are one of the oldest and most trusted suppliers of time management solutions within the UK.
We are looking to sell our full range of Time management solutions, this will include software based solutions that utilise the latest biometric face scan, fingerprint, or RFID technology, but we also have a range of traditional units that we will be looking to push too. These will include standard clocking in machines, and we also offer a full range of consumables for these too, such as clocking in cards, card racks, and replacement ribbons. In addition to time and attendance, we also offer time control solutions for break time sounder systems.
The company was started in the 1930's and became a limited company in 1947. We currently employ 5 people, but we are looking to grow and expand our workforce. We also have a second company that has been selling Audio Visual solutions since 1972 and there are a lot of untapped cross selling opportunities that could be explored.
Sales commission can be discussed and we welcome a discussion on that matter. Generally, a commission of between 10% and 20% could be achieved on the final sale value, but this depends on margins being maintained and the value of the order too.
We can offer internal desk space and provide IT support for the role, but we have no issue with someone setting their own hours or working from home.
B2B and generally SME’s.
We can provide services to anyone that employs staff.
We are strong in the engineering sector but would like to expand into other markets such as hospitality, administration, legal services, and we are also keen to partner with financial firms that process employee payroll.

We’re looking for a person with B2B sales experience and ideally familiarity with HR, payroll, or workforce management solutions.
They must be strongly self motivated, a self-starter with strong communication skills.
Existing business contacts or ability to generate leads is essential.
