Her Goal Magazine is an independent publication dedicated to women’s football, covering the game from grassroots to elite level. It reaches an engaged audience of players, coaches, students, teams, and decision-makers across the women’s football ecosystem.
Formerly known as She Kicks Magazine, we have been published continuously since 2002, building a loyal readership and strong reputation within the women’s football community.
We are now seeking an experienced freelance sales professional to sell advertising space and sponsorship opportunities within Her Goal magazine.

You will sell advertising space and sponsorship opportunities within Her Goal magazine, the UK’s dedicated women’s football publication.
This is a results-driven, commission-only role suited to someone confident in outbound sales who is comfortable building opportunities from scratch. There is no existing sales database or historical advertiser list. You will be expected to proactively identify, research, and approach potential advertisers.
The magazine offers various advertising formats and sponsorship packages targeting the engaged women’s football community, from grassroots level through to elite professional football.
Her Goal Magazine was formerly known as She Kicks Magazine which has been published continually since 2002, giving you credibility and heritage when approaching potential advertisers.
Earn 35% commission on all revenue you generate with commission paid promptly following receipt of signed order confirmations. No cap on earnings means your income potential is entirely in your hands.
Primary target advertisers include educational institutions offering academic courses for female students who want to combine study with playing football, and women’s football tournament organisers seeking to attract teams, players, and clubs.
You are an experienced sales professional with proven success selling advertising space, sponsorships, or media placements. You thrive on commission-only arrangements and have the confidence and resilience to handle outbound sales from cold prospects.
You need proven experience selling advertising space, sponsorships, or media placements, confidence working on a commission-only basis, strong outbound sales skills and resilience, the ability to research markets and build your own lead lists, and professional communication skills.
Experience in sport, education, or women’s football markets would be valuable, as would existing contacts within education, sport, or tournament organisations and understanding of print or digital media advertising.
This opportunity suits someone who has sold advertising or sponsorship before, is comfortable with outbound self-generated leads, and wants autonomy with commission-driven rewards.
