Continuum Films is a London-based creative production company making commercials, brand films, social-first campaigns, branded documentaries, and live content for brands and agencies. We’re a young, ambitious team with exceptional craft and we’re looking for a hungry, self-directed sales executive to help us grow.
This is a freelance role. You’ll be working independently, representing Continuum to brand-side marketing leads and agency producers, opening conversations and getting the right people into an initial Alignment Session with our team. From there you warm the lead post call if needed and then once in a consideration stage, we take over.
You won’t be selling a commodity. Continuum has a clear point of view, a distinctive creative approach, and a full-service offering that spans strategy through to post-production. There’s real breadth to sell and a team behind you that can back it up.
The right person already has a warm network in the advertising and video production world. They understand how brands and agencies buy creative services, they’re comfortable with relationship-led sales cycles, and they want the upside that comes from building something rather than just managing accounts.
We’re open to both commission-only and retainer-plus-commission arrangements depending on the fit. UK-based, remote-friendly.
If you’re the kind of person who wants to back a company they genuinely believe in and earn well for doing it, we’d like to talk.

What We Do:
Why We Exist (The “Why”)
The content landscape is drowning in noise. Brands copy each other. Timelines are full of slop. Most production companies are production lines – they execute briefs, they don’t challenge them
Continuum exists to push for ideas with a genuine point of view. To make work that is distinctive, not derivative
Our USPs (Why We’re Better)
1. Purpose-led creativity
We deliberately push for a distinctive point of view on every project. We build an environment where creative risks are actually taken – not talked about and then watered down
2. Lean by design (a big one)
Our core team is small on purpose. We scale project by project using the best people for the job – which means clients aren’t paying for agency bloat, account managers who’ve never been on a set, or layers of overhead. The money goes into the work
3. Strategy first, production second
We either shape an existing opportunity or help uncover a new one. We define what success looks like before anything else. Most production companies skip this step – they take the brief at face value and shoot. We don’t.
4. The entire continuum of production – under one roof
Commercials, social content, branded documentaries, live capture, post-production. Brands don’t need to manage five different suppliers. One relationship, full capability
5. Production moulded around the client’s workflow – not the other way around
The Alignment Session at the start of every project exists to understand how the client works, what success looks like for them, and how to fit into their world. Most companies impose their process. We adapt ours
7. No loss of communication
Because of the lean model, you’re not handed off to a another team after the pitch. The people you meet are the people who make the work
8. Can’t Teach an Old Dog New Tricks
Continuum is a young team who grew up in the video technology boom of the 2000s & 2010s. We didn’t have to unlearn old ways of working, we were raised with cameras in our hands, native to the platforms, the formats, and the pace that modern content demands. Exceptional craft, built from the ground up in the digital era, not retrofitted onto it.
While established production companies are still adapting to how content is consumed today, this is the only world Continuum has ever known. That’s a genuine competitive edge, particularly when pitching to brands who need social-first thinking baked in from day one, not bolted on at the end.
8% commission on creative production projects is meaningful on its own. But what makes this opportunity genuinely compelling is that the commission is recurring. For every client you bring in, you earn 8% on every project that client commissions with Continuum for the following two years. You're not closing a deal and moving on. You're building a revenue stream. Here's what that looks like in practice. A brand you introduce to Continuum runs one commercial in year one, a social content campaign six months later, and a branded documentary the following year. At typical production budgets, that's potentially three separate commission payments from a single introduction. You do the work once to get them in the room. Continuum does the work to keep them coming back. You earn every time they do. That's a fundamentally different proposition to a standard commission structure. Most freelance sales roles reward the close. This one rewards the relationship, which is exactly how the best reps in this industry already think and operate. The more good clients you bring in, the more your recurring income compounds. Over two years, a handful of well-chosen introductions can add up to a significant and largely passive income stream alongside whatever else you're working on.
For every client you bring in, you earn 8% on every project that client commissions with Continuum for the following two years. You're not closing a deal and moving on. You're building a revenue stream.
We want to set you up for success, not leave you guessing. Where we have them, we'll provide curated lead lists to give you a running start. These will be targeted, relevant, and ready for you to work through. That said, this won't always be the case. Some of the time you'll be working from your own network and your own initiative, which is exactly why a warm, active contact list is something we're looking for in the right candidate. The best opportunities in this space come from genuine relationships, not cold lists, and we'd always back a rep's personal introduction over a name on a spreadsheet. Think of the lead support as a supplement to what you bring, not a replacement for it. When we have useful intelligence or identified targets that fit the brief, we'll share it. When we don't, we trust the right person to go and find them.
Terms of retainer will be agreed if this route is taken.
We're not going to hand you a one-pager and wish you luck. When you come on board, we'll set you up properly. You'll receive a full suite of sales materials including our strategy deck, brand intro deck, and brand guidelines. Everything you need to walk into a conversation confidently and represent Continuum the right way. Before you start pitching, we'll run an onboarding session with you. We'll walk you through who we are, how we think, the kinds of clients we've worked with, and how we've sold in the past. You'll leave knowing the offering inside out. From there, you'll have direct access to senior members of the Continuum team whenever you need it. If a prospect asks something you want to sense-check, or an opportunity needs a quick steer, we're available. You won't be left figuring things out on your own. We'll also debrief regularly. What conversations are happening, what's landing, what needs adjusting. This is a two-way relationship and we want to make it work as much as you do.
This is a genuinely flexible opportunity. There are no set hours, no mandatory check-ins, and no one looking over your shoulder. You work when you work, you pitch how you pitch, and you build your pipeline in a way that fits around your life and your other commitments. You won't be expected to be exclusive to Continuum. If you already represent other companies in non-competing spaces, that's absolutely fine. The best freelance reps have a portfolio of clients they believe in and Continuum is designed to sit comfortably within that. You're also not tied to a desk or a location. This is a fully remote arrangement. Whether you're London-based or working from anywhere in the UK, it makes no difference to us. What matters is the quality of your conversations and the relationships you build, not where you're sitting when you make them. There are no rigid targets or unrealistic quotas. We're looking for the right person to grow with us over time, not someone chasing short-term numbers. We'd rather have a rep who brings in two brilliant clients a year than one who burns through a contact list and disappears. In short, you run your own show. We give you everything you need to represent Continuum well and then we trust you to get on with it.
Target Market
We sell to two distinct but connected audiences.
Brands direct Marketing managers, heads of content, and brand directors at mid to large consumer and B2B brands who have video and content budgets and are either dissatisfied with their current production partner or actively looking for one. The sweet spot is brands who care about creative quality and want a production company that brings ideas to the table, not just a crew that executes a brief.
Creative and advertising agencies Producers, account managers, and heads of production at creative, advertising, digital, and integrated agencies who need a trusted production partner to deliver for their clients. Agencies often don’t want to own production in-house. They need someone they can bring in who won’t let them down in front of their client. That’s where Continuum fits.
Both audiences are relationship-led. They don’t respond to cold pitches the way a software buyer might. They buy from people they’ve met, trust, or have been referred to. Which is exactly why the right sales rep needs a warm network rather than just a list of names.
Sectors we’ve worked across and are well placed to sell into:
There’s no single vertical we’re locked into. The offering travels across sectors which gives the right rep genuine flexibility in where they focus their energy.
The ideal candidate has done enough time in the industry to have built genuine relationships and developed a feel for how creative services are bought and sold, but they’re still hungry. They want more control over their earnings, more flexibility in how they work, and they’re backing themselves to go out and build something.
Pros:
