QuikSwitch was founded in 2016 as a business consultancy specialising in saving SME’s money on their fixed costs. We started to broker energy contracts and quickly found that our business expertise opened up conversations about other costs. Pretty quickly we developed relationships with Tier 1 and 2 suppliers of connectivity, telephony, card acceptance, ePOS systems, waste management and water services. The majority of these channels are managed through our in-house portals, meaning the agent not only has total transparency on commissions earned, but total autonomy on setting pricing, length of contracts and no disconnect from their client.

Never lose a chance to earn commission because someone is tied into a contract as you are able to offer 10 distinct revenue channels to your client. This leads to closed deals, but more importantly to lower client acquisition costs as you can sell one site multiple contracts. It also helps you create a ‘sticky’ client as you have the opportunity to offer many more touch-points through out the customer journey and not just at renewal for one service.

Our unique wholesale purchasing strategies across the channels allow us to offer the cheapest pricing on the market. This means the client is buying as part of a larger group and benefiting from lower prices.

  • Excellent commission terms

    Because of our over-arching procurement strategy, we have secured some of the best base prices, leaving plenty of headroom for an uplift without compromising the chance of a sale. The starting rate is 60% of revenue earned by QuikSwitch, the majority of which is paid on the drip. Some channels also have an upfront loading as well as monthly residuals. If targets are reached, the percentage share will increase accordingly.

  • Recurring commission

    Each successfully placed contract will start to attract revenue. The amounts vary from channel to channel and client profile to client profile, but will always be yours for as long as the business contracts through QuikSwitch(TM).

  • Professional training and support

    You will not be able to access pricing portals until you have undertaken the interactive/webinar-based training modules. Certain channels come with a test that must be passed to ensure you have understood and assimilated the training. Once you have completed the on-boarding process, you will have access to on-going support training and 'sense-checks' on the first few businesses on-boarded by the candidate.

  • Sales and marketing support

    Fully branded monthly mailers/special offers/newsletters will be provided via .pdf. These will also be personalised to the agent. Following a trial period you can benefit from a QuikSwitch email address and telephone number strengthening your personal brand.

  • Freedom & flexibility

    The agent will be in full control of their own diary.

Ideal Profile

The ideal candidates will probably be selling one of the products we sell, but looking to recycle those customers and sell them channels that they might not have access to currently. Commission payments are paid a month in arrears, typically, but the commission on some channels can be drawn down the day the contract goes live.

The agent would need to show a willingness to build a lasting and meaningful relationship with their clients in order to benefit from the repeat sales and cross sales. This normally means they would not be looking for that initial ‘big’ win on commission, but will probably take a longer term view on revenue and build strong residuals for the life of the client, including onward renewals.

Full interactive/webinar-based training is required for the majority of channels, including training in the use of the pricing portals. On-going support with follow-up training and sales and marketing support is available at all times. Sample mailers will be provided on a monthly basis to assist in lead generation/pipeline support.
