I’m Nicky Cheetham-Whitfield, founder of accuSafe, an award-winning health and safety consultancy, and the creator of The Compliance & Leadership Collective.
After nearly three decades working across multiple industries, I started accuSafe in 2019 to do things differently. Not just compliance for the sake of it but helping business owners and senior leaders genuinely understand their responsibilities, reduce risk, and feel confident in the decisions they’re making.
Since then, accuSafe has grown into a recognised and respected consultancy, supporting organisations in the North West and across the UK (with a specialism in healthcare and education) and has been recognised as:
• Best Compliance Experts 2024
• Best Healthcare Sector Safety & Compliance Company 2024 – North West England
• Best H&S Consultancy in the North West
But what sits behind that isn’t just technical expertise.
It’s the reality that many leaders are making high-stakes decisions every day and often without a space to properly test their thinking.
And that’s exactly why The Compliance & Leadership Collective was created.
The Collective is a private, invitation-only forum for business owners and senior leaders — giving them access to peer-level discussion and expert insight across health & safety, HR, employment law, and leadership. It’s designed to help them think clearly, make stronger decisions, and reduce both organisational and personal risk.
We’re currently looking to work with freelance sales/outreach professionals on an initial campaign to support invitations to a private introductory session taking place on 24th June.
This is not a hard-sell role.
The focus is on:
This isn’t a transactional campaign.

We’re currently looking to work with freelance sales/outreach professionals on an initial campaign to support invitations to a private introductory session taking place on 24th June.
This is not a hard-sell role.
The focus is on:
Yes, to be discussed.
We’ll provide you with a structured onboarding to ensure you feel confident representing both accuSafe and The Compliance & Leadership Collective at the right level. This will include: • A clear breakdown of who we are, what we do, and how both accuSafe and TCLC are positioned • Context around the types of leaders you’ll be speaking to, including their challenges and pressures • Guidance on how to introduce the concept of the session in a way that feels natural and credible • Messaging frameworks to support conversations without relying on rigid scripts • Clarity on what a successful call looks like (and what it doesn’t) You’ll also have access to ongoing support throughout the campaign, including the ability to sense-check conversations, refine your approach, and ensure consistency in how the opportunity is being represented.
We believe in giving our outreach partners the flexibility to work in a way that suits them, while maintaining the professionalism expected when engaging with senior leaders. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own schedule and approach, rather than working to rigid structures or scripts. As a guide, we ask that calls are made within appropriate business hours (typically between 9am and 5pm), recognising that many of the individuals you’ll be speaking to operate across varied and demanding schedules. This is a results-focused role, but not in a high-pressure, volume-driven sense. We’re far more interested in the quality of conversations and the way the opportunity is represented than rigid activity targets. You’ll be trusted to manage your time, approach conversations thoughtfully, and operate in a way that reflects the level of the audience you’re engaging with.

We’re looking for a freelance sales/outreach professional to support an initial campaign inviting business owners and senior leaders to a private introductory session for a new leadership forum.
This is not a traditional sales role; it’s closer to a relationship-led, consultative outreach role.
You won’t be selling a product or pushing for a close on the call.
Instead, your role is to open conversations, create interest, and secure attendance at a no-cost, limited, invitation-led session taking place on 24th June.
We’re looking for someone who can:
This is a more considered, conversation-led approach not volume-based pitching.
The leaders you’ll be speaking to are often making high-stakes decisions in environments where they don’t always have the space to properly test their thinking.
That’s why tone matters.
This isn’t about selling fear or pushing services.
It’s about positioning something that feels relevant, credible, and worth exploring.
This will suit someone who:
Experience in health & safety, HR, or professional services is helpful, but not essential.
This initial campaign is focused on invitations to the 24th June introductory session.
If the campaign is successful, we will be looking to continue working with the right individuals to support the next phase — engaging with interested leaders and helping shape the initial 25 founding members of the forum.
This is a more considered process than a typical sales cycle.
It involves:
We’re not looking for high-pressure selling.
We’re looking for people who can build trust over time and represent a premium, leadership-level offering appropriately.
This is an opportunity to be involved at an early stage in something with strong long-term potential.
For the right person, there is scope for ongoing collaboration across:
If you’re interested in supporting this campaign — and potentially working with us longer term — we’d love to hear from you.
