We are Little Wigwam, a children’s product manufacturer based in the UK. We have operated successfully since 2009, with our products selling extremely well both online and physically. Our products are already available in some very prestigious shops, covering museums, garden centres, and specialised product shops. We have on-going repeat custom from these businesses, and would expect the same for any business that stocks our products. We do sell directly to consumers as well, but we want to grow our wholesale business as our products sell so well on sight. Most of our products are educational, aimed at children aged 3-11. We can cope with large bulk orders, though we are open to smaller orders.

Products

Our products are all physical, mainly educational products for children. Our range includes placemats, posters, flash cards, jigsaws, and height charts. All are extremely visually appealling, so do really well in a retail environment, but their quality and practicality mean consumers love them and come back for more.

  • Working with a well-established company

    We have been in operation since 2009, and we have a healthy annual turnover of over £250k. We are very well stocked and operate our own warehouse.

  • Successful track record with agents or sales people

    We have a sales agent who has been with the company many years. We had others but retirements and career changes led to those relationships ending over time, and for a period we were scaling the business back but now want to grow.

  • Recurring commission

    Our products sell really well, so retailers come back regularly to re-stock. Depending on the retailer size and order sizes this could be every few weeks, once a quarter, etc.

  • First sale bonus

    For smaller orders we'd increase our commission from 15% to 20%-25%. If there is a large initial order we would offer a larger percentage as a bonus, up to 40%.

  • Sales and marketing support

    We will supply you with product samples and all information needed.

  • Exclusive sales areas

    We previously had the UK split into 10 territories. We are open to this type of arrangement again, but on a case by case basis.

  • Freedom & flexibility

    We don't manage you, as long as you represent our business & products well, we don't get involved in how you work, when, where, etc.

Target market

We sell to a range of businesses. It could be general retailers. Currently our products sell to museum gift shops, specialist children’s product retailers, garden centres, farm shops, etc. We have produced products on behalf of CBeebies and TFL, and this is also a market we’d like to explore further – producing our products specifically for other entities (i.e. their branding).

Ideal Profile

We are looking ideally for experienced field sales agents – our products sell well online, but on sight they sell even better, and the same is true when selling B2B. We enjoy long standing relationships with retailers and we would anticipate the same, meaning this is a fantastic steady revenue generator for any agent. We typically offer 15% commission, for the right opportunities this is negotiable. If an agent has experience in children’s products and/or the type of businesses we have mentioned, this would be ideal.
